
Taking these images was challenging due to the very dim light. I did not want to use flash, as it would remove the warmth of the tungsten lights used all around inside the barn. I had to shoot at ISO 1600, F2.8, and the shutter speed still averaged a slow 1/25th seconds. Too slow to handheld, and without a tripod, I was glad I had brought my image stabilized lens. Expensive, but it does pay off in events like these.

As always, I love your work. This shot is particularly interesting: the natural lighting is surreal, giving a kind of dreamy feeling to what is perhaps an ordinary barn. The antique characters tell a different story.
From a critical perspective, there appears to be some distortion that is tilting the barn roof. I'm not sure that this is intended.
